Props and Styling

The props and accessories used for these shoots are there to represent the look of a mermaid. One of the words in my theme is tropical, which made me want to incorporate flowers. I also wanted to use seaweed and shells to represent the mermaids and under water theme. 

Everything I used for the shoot are plastic or synthetic because the real products cant be manipulated in the way that I want. I bought flowers and seaweed from a fancy dress shop, along with a plastic shell. 

Face Charts

These are the face charts designed to represent the illamasqua mermaid. There are both beauty and fantasy looks which represent the intended theme. The theme focal points are blue, glitter, mermaid and tropical. Originally, the colour yellow was inncluded but after experimentation with face charts I decided that the colour didnt match the overall looks I was going for. The face charts are very basic because that is the way i like to work. I dont like to finalise the whole idea at once and then copy it, because i like to build upon my look as i am working and see what fits in the right ways.
